Norwegian Cruise Line officially revealed that Great Tides Waterpark at Great Stirrup Cay will open on September 4, 2026.

The new waterpark will include:
- 19 waterslides
- a massive splash zone for kids
- an 800-foot dynamic river
- cliff jumps
- private cabanas
- three new food trucks
- and even swim-up bars
Day passes are now becoming available for guests sailing to Great Stirrup Cay on or after opening day.

Viking also made news this week after officially taking delivery of Viking Mira, the newest ship to join the fleet.

- elegant Scandinavian-inspired design
- destination-focused itineraries
- and the quieter, smaller-ship atmosphere Viking cruisers love
Viking also shared that more ships are already in the pipeline, including future vessels using hydrogen-based propulsion technology.
